#03. coping well

Lessons were much smoother today, and the kids seemingly enjoyed themselves, thankfully.

Afternoon we had chicken! I’m starting to appreciate my food back in Singapore! Used my hands to eat a full meal for the first time, and i felt closer to the kids (: the food somehow taster better! Closer to nature. :D

Rested for a while and HTHT-ed with aileen and ying! Successful team bonding haha! I love my batch ocip mates. :D go 21s! :D

Dinner was good and after dinner, we joined the kids for some interaction. Played some games, then sang songs. It was amazing to know that the children watch dramas like we do! We even talked about idols like jerry yan and vic chou -__- it was a huge surprise and they watched FULL HOUSE too. RAIN! Then we sang our own national anthems and other songs that we knew lyrics to. Like my heart will go on HAHA. Really classic.

Finally was devotion. You are my all in all! :D

climbing up the killer slope at the orphanage! (we wanted to go watch the guys play soccer with the villagers, but after walking on the road for about two minutes we decided to head back because it was simply to scary to walk there!)
