This morning i started off by going out of the dorm earlier to look for b’s bottle. It was my last hop and i really wished wthe wish i made yesterday came true. And so when i checked the van and there wasn’t any. I was devastated. But the guy who checked the van for me checked the other two vans too, and actually found it! Turned out that i checked the wrong van -__- OMG i died of happiness (:
Today’s the last day of shool. played word challenge with the grade 11 kids. They seemed to enjoy it alot (: but i don’t think i’ll miss the school, because i wasn’t exactly close to them. Haven’t felt that i had made an impact yet, so don’t think i’m fit to be a teacher ):
And today the kids were writing letters! I didn’t receive any, except for the 3 students who copied a template in nigella’s class. Grade 5. Aldrin said that someone from grade 10 wrote for me (and asked for my name) BUT I DIDN’T RECEIVE ANY! ): ): ): ROARSSSSS. I’m so jealous of those who received. But i guess it’s okay, cos all my classes are grade 11s and they didn’t write letters. Hahaha.
We had performances after that! The kids were uber adorable. :P and the English zai guy from my class made a speech! (: after their performance we performed qing fei de yi for them and nigella led a prayer (: it was nice but sad ):
After school we packed up and cleaned the room, then sent the first team off. Then we rested again, did the laundry, andden went to cut grass! It was a fun experience (: and it’s super difficult! But after that they said it wasn’t good for girls to do that so we went to the chicken coop and helped out with it. It was my first time hammering a n ail into wood and creating something so big. Enriching and unexpectedly tremendously fun (: and we had a problem of unequal spacing along the way but eventually solved the problem of unequal spacing along the way but eventually we solved the problem. There were disagreements with coughhhhhh but we decided on a method and worked on it together (: i’m proud of us! :D
Oh and anyway, we’re so well adapted now. We can survive washing our clothes with little water and do all the houework! I guess it’s because there’s no longer any other form of entertainment present. :P
After finishing up the chicken coop at about 6+, we went back to bathe and wash the tar off our hands and clothes. After rotting was dinner time! Dinner was yummy! We had ayam soup and nasi! :D there was kentang and carrots too! super gooooood. So glad there wasn’t anyone else to steal our food. :P
After dinner we played with the kids near to the dining area (: it was super fun an i ran till i seated. They kept calling me ‘abang’ (brother) when i’m a ‘kakak’ (sister)! :X haha so i chased them around until they call me kakak. :) super duper fun! :D
