Woke up early in the morning
to school and went to SMP. (: SMP’s so much more fun than SMA! I think it’s
because they consisted of mainly younger kids who were generally more
enthusiastic and eager to learn. (: went to English class first with clement and
aileen and it was pretty much okay, except that it was quite hard to explain
the wheel of fortune to them. Plus there weren’t very much group activities and
so I didn’t manage to join, unlike yesterday.
Math lesson was okay with
scandal and bzz! Managed to explain the meaning of the question to the students
with my very broken bahasa, which was really really shocking to me! Yeaps but
they seemed to be very interested and intrigued by the out of the box atypical
questions and so it was pretty much easy to teach.
Had a break after that which
zg and matt went to get ice popsicles! :D the group of us then just sat along
the class corridor sucking the popsicles like little children lol! But its
really cheap, like ten cents for each :P
Social Studies was the craziest
of all. Went to crash changtai’s class and his laptop was pretty much out of
battery, and so we just described using words and while I drew on the board.
The best part was nearer to the end, when we told them they could ask us any
questions about Singapore or even ourselves. And they somehow became even
crazier! First they asked us our age, then whether we were single or not, and
everytime they asked us and we replied they will create a huge uproar! Omg.
Haha but it was super funny la. They made the two of us sing a song too and so
we sang Reach upon their request :X super paiseh can! But they looked really
happy so I was alright with that I guess (: Poli then took over pretty much
andden he sang another song as well.
Science was the last of all.
I ended up sitting with gang while matthew taught most of it. We talked about
our course, how sian it is to work etc etc. I think it’s really much more
comfortable to talk to same age guys about such things, because somehow we all
just can connect. Haha I guess its because of the zero generation gap hahaha.
After lessons, we shook
hands with the teachers and the principal then took the van over to SMA to pick
the rest up. Took the pick up back to the home and its quite an amazing
experience because we (about 13 of us) were pretty much stuck at that
uncomfortable position for about 45mins or so. Omg my legs were totally numb
after that!
Afternoon was spent mostly
napping (we were all so tired from waking up early in the morning for the past
two days) andden the girls went to the library to key in the books. Only
managed to fill in like 30 of them today each, so progress was pretty much
slow. :X now I know how bad it is to actually be a librarian.
Dinner and devotion were
about the same, just that devotion they made us describe our experience in
school which changtai sabo-ed me cos he said that both of us sang during class
-___- so basically we were forced to go up and sing again. :X omg omg. Some of
them had it worse though, like candee clement and zhigang were made to talk and
translate lol! Super funny clement kept pressing down his hair. LOL.
