finally, a new album!!!!

i'm always weirdly attracted to songs written by guaishou! definitely not an exception this time round. :D amazing how i could listen to the whole album, pick out my favourite song, peek at the lyrics, and then happily realise that once again, it's guaishou's masterpiece :) heehee! 

and of course, ashin's lyrics are awesome as always. loves the twist at the end of the song! :D

can't wait to get my hands on the new album! heard that it's out in Singapore either on the 19th or the 20th, which is tomorrow! super duper eggcited :D

a whole load of randomness

the thought of flying to the land of the rising sun this june with awesome 78-ers just excites me to my bonessssss (: so glad i'm finally going to book the tickets! its awesomely priced at 610 bucks all thanks to cathay pacific!!! :) :) :) WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS. i hope all those unsure 78-ers would be able to go!!! :D

just wanna let it out a lil' bit. life's every single bit of awesome.

oh yes, the little talk i had with peiying during hrm was great :D telling her those things i never wanted to really explain made me realise more things than ever. and as usual, she's a great friend who somehow understands me and knows what i'm thinking. as great as it is, it's pretty scary at the same time. HAHAHAHAHA. and it's scarier since we don't talk to each other that often and but nevertheless she gives me a vibe that she'd known me for ages. wtfreak.

beach f!esta was a hugeeeee success (: despite the rain everything went pretty well! :D love the comm, love the participants. oh yeah, luge is awesome. while the two of us took the skyride up so that we could go down the path to retrieve those medals, we saw the VERY AWESOME fireworks coming from songs of the seas and another romantic "will you marry me" message (using candles on the field! so when you're taking the skyride you could see the msg clearly - like HOW ROMANTIC!) too bad i was with the wrong person HAHA.

best world extravaganza.... wth.

hahaha i'm really an old fan. it's been 4 days since the night i went for mayday's little concert over at the indoor stadium and i've yet to update anything about it. roars.

rinaaaaaaaa, i hope you don't mind me copying your post. HAHAHAHA. it sorta summarises everything super well. HEE.

At approximately 4.30, hweeboon called to ask "Hey you going later?" and realising it's 12 June, there is some event that Mayday will be performing at. Some kind of... extravaganza. You know, those kind that MLMs love to hold ala City Harvest.

"No omg you're going?"
"Jace and Wenbin have tickets."

And thus in our very nuar state we agonized if we should go. I used the nice buakpueh toy that Tian got for me from Taiwan, and we consulted some fortune-cookies and magic 8 balls online. And in a minute we were changing out of our nuar attire. As I was getting ready to leave the house, hweeboon called again.

"Eh, no tickets already"

And so we went back to nua-ing. And then on MSN, hweeboon said,

"got tickets -_____________________-"

Another round of consultation with the abovementioned authorities, and we're out of the house for real.

No joke, 3 hours worth of the company's history, founders (whom they all call LAOMA and use WOAINI excessively), pilipalapilipala. MAYDAY CAME ONSTAGEEEEEEE!!!!! Ashin looked super scared (must be all the WOAINIMEN!) Nevertheless the performance was suuuuper worth the wait because they performed 天天想你 and 聽不到, which I've never heard live before. The day the do 小護士 or 雨眠 I'll die screaming.

So glad I went. heeheehee.

and yeaps. i took 1.5h to get there from home btw. crazy long ride. but it's worth it after all. HAHAHA. and you know, and some point of time during that 3hours, i forgot what i was there for already. jace and i could only laugh at ourselves HAHA. just felt like we were obliged to be there you know, listening to all those direct marketing thingy (rather, direct sales. because saying it's direct marketing is a total insult to the term marketing itself) about Dr. Secrets and they botox-injected face (or so we all think).

and it's as awesome as ever. :D

i wouldn't say awesome-r because it was significantly shorter than last year's (2.5h compared to 4h), but all other things actually made up for that 1.5h less of mayday.

like the OMG stage with the OMG lightings and the OMG props (the transformers! LOL). and of course the OMG fireworks and the OMG audience (i think there's a good 12,000 people there)!!!

but errr. booo for showing videos that they showed during last year's concert, boo for not singing songs like 牙关，憨人，听不到，纯真，出头天，香水，爱情万岁，叫我第一名，志明与春娇，轧车, 恒星的恒心, 我又初恋了... among which are really long time classics. but anyway, i'm quite sick of listening to them sing those every concert so it's not necessarily a bad thing! oh yes, it's the first time i heard 相信 in FULL, which ROCKS because for the past few concerts they always sang that song partially with 拥抱, which they didn't sing today either.

oh yes! YAY for the 候鸟 + 疯狂世界, 我心中尚未崩坏的地方, 生命有一种绝对! wooooooots (: (:

but yeah, the best part was still 温柔, which was the finale. (: you can hear the whole stadium singing loudly and clearly (and even hear it resonate), andden there was those glitter-y stuff flying around, and OMG, FIREWORKS!!!! no joke can!!!! super duper prettttyyyy (: hahaha took a few photos. shall upload them tmr!

and now i'm just damn tired. don't feel like leaving the house tmr. :X oh gosh. it's going to be monday again! :( week 15 of IA. roars.
