Woke up by the railway station in Auckland, and I’m getting used to seeing something different every time I open my eyes in the morning (:

The first thing we did after breakfast (cereal and biscuits) was to get to the Laundromat we saw yesterday and finally did our laundry. Walked around the area while waiting for the laundry (actually we went all the way to the hotel to use the atas toilet o.O) andden went back to place them into the dryer. Went to the convenience stall andden the pita place to get some pitas for lunch which were pretty nice, then finally collected our dry laundry and went back to our camper to place the stuff back.

Continued walking along the streets of Auckland, found a free city bus and hopped into it, dropped off at the sky tower, jojo and herny went over to the casino to take a look while darius and I went to walk around the area without any photo identification, andden we met again and walked towards the main street to look for slippers. Didn’t find any cheap ones and so settled down at bk instead for some burgers for an early dinner, while I went into the cotton on next door and bought two tops HAHA (it’s natural instinct hoho).

And that’s pretty much about it. Auckland is a freaking boring city, pretty much like what you see in Singapore, just less shopping stuff and more commercial buildings with a few colonial styled buildings in the vicinity, and the tourist sucking sky tower which costs 38 to get up and a casino which basically sucks money out of the many mainland Chinese over there.
So after all these we decided to go grocery shopping instead and went over to the countdown nearby. And it was freaking cold, seriously! Had to camp halfway at some building to regenerate some warmth andden rushed towards the supermarket. O.o spent another hour there while we took turns to head to the nearby shell to use the toilet and pretty much got what we wanted (with the exception of nutella and slippers ): )
And so after that long night, we started driving to tutukaka and along the way we kept looking for places to fill our LPG. and omg we took 4 hours and after visiting countless petrol stations we didn’t manage to find even one which could do it for us. Everyone who had that refilling function said that since they were the only person in the station they couldn’t come out to help us. And so that night we reached tutukaka only at 2 plus, and had to risk the night without refilling our tank (which might mean that we might not have a functioning heater!!) goshhh. Seriously sians. By the time it was three everyone was so tired and so we quickly set up the bed and went to sleep.
