i just realised how shiok it is to be able to watch HQ videos loaded into a thumbdrive on a HDTV. i watched 2 eps of honey and clover just now. and will prob do so more often whenever i have avi files :D i'm so thankful for the new hdtv and dvd player/recorder which my parents won. (:
on a side note, honey and clover's pretty nice. i thought it was boring at first, but as i continued watching i was slowly touched by all the things that the characters are going through. the internal struggle, the loneliness, the sense of lost and helplessness. ahh the phase of growing up. the time when we slowly become adults but aren't quite there yet.
i'm thankful for ikuta toma (nakatsu of jap hana kimi) and Kashiwabara Takashi (my sis's favourite actor when i was in sec one - acted in itazura na kiss), because if not for them i wouldnt have watched the show. and now i understand why the best selling novel was adapted to become an anime, jap drama, and now a taiwan drama. and how ironic because both the lead actors in the tw and jap version of it started with a kiss acted in the respective versions of honey and clover. just that joe cheng continued to become the lead, while poor takashi ended up as some small fry (looking really old, ugly and uncool). it's been more than 10 years since his stint in itazura, after all.
okay, enough ramblings from a drama freak. i think i'm boring everyone. good night!
