haha but at least i know that i'm finally 23, unlike ying2 who somehow thought that we are all going to be 24 this year -____-lll hurrrrr.

anyway, spent the day working as usual, just that i didn't plan out any meetings for the day, we really felt super good :) could just focus on chionging work and looking forward to dinner with family at home. heehee. and not to forget, just as i was thinking that it wouldn't be possible to be "surprised" again (unlike previous years spent in hall), my colleagues actually surprised me in starbucks :D so awesome of them!!

and i have to say, the past year really went by so quickly.

last year at this time, i just got my offer for the job, and was mugging in mae nexus tgt with kennethkoh yuenling lance and a few others. then i remembered going back hall and my awesome 46 & come6 friends surprised me big time with the ipod touch and an awesome cake :) the next day foinix came over too, and even though their surprise sorta failed i was really touched by the effort! heehee. past years were similarly awesome, there was the usual ocip ppl in yr 3, then jace and ahmean came all the way in yr 1 & 2. :D to be frank, i'm truly blessed to have such awesome friends all my life. :)

as for all who wished me this year, especially the constants in my life - i'm really thankful. i won't be able to list them one by one like i did in the past (simply because i really wanna spend this little time i have now to do the things i really wanna do), but i think at this point in life i sorta know who are the friends who will last a long time and who aren't. it's really not surprising to see less wishes now, but more importantly, i do see more wishes that are sincere and true. thankful the quality of friendships that i have :)

and yeaps, it was truly thanksgiving. on thursday i finally went for my first alpha with the CF team in EDB, and it was so awesome :) the whole conversational on Jesus' death on the cross and the significance of it was truly interesting, and the questions the pre-believers asked really got me thinking. i'm really so thankful for such a christian presence in the workplace - these are really the people who i know are very sincere and true, God-fearing and God-loving, and so willing to go out of their way for others even though they may be so busy with work. Especially wesley joseph and leisuan, who have been so packed with work and their personal lives but could nonetheless still put in the effort to organise everything. it was truly heartening to see such a big turnout at the alpha that day - i can only say, daddy God is the awesomest. looking forward to the next alpha and the next ikthus already :)

i know i'm extremely incoherent now, but i just wanna add that i really feel that i've aged by 3 years since I started work. hahaha. this is bad, really gotta make a constant effort to ensure that my life doesn't suffer. gosh.

looking back at year #22 of my life, it has been truly amazing. people came into my life and left, things happened, and hearts fluttered, and most importantly, i went through a couple of turning points in my life. i'd like to think that i've grown up a lot in the past year, and learnt multitudes and multitudes in different aspects including life, work and everything else. while i expect #23 to be less exciting, i suppose it'll nonetheless be great! heehe. 

and hopefully i can just find that someone special, get married, and quit my job. HAHAHA.
