with a little bit of magic!

I PASSED MY JLPT N4!!!!!!

omg omg omg the one week of intensive mugging for jap worked well HAHA (of course, with some unmerited favour from God!). and not only did i pass, but i also did quite well in my opinion! B B A and 2 other scores i can't rmb (i called my dad and he read the results to me!)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOTS!

can't contain my eggcitement. i'm so glad i took N4 over N5 when i was complaining to grace and siewhui how i regretted trying to cramp half the syllabus in one week. HAHA. now i should totally go japan for grad trip!! YING2 DON'T PANGSEH ME. :P

anyway, did 3.5 hours of canteen duty today! and i've got a newfound respect for all canteen vendors now. it's seriously hard work! especially when i thought that there wasnt that many people who eat breakfast at cant 9, but i was TOTALLY wrong. at the peak period it almost killed me. i was trying to do everything quickly so i'd be of some good help to uncle lim & the kopi uncle. like omg omg omg. and i think cos they were shorthanded today (the auntie stayed at home to take care of her husband) so we were exceptionally busy. i can't imagine if i didnt offer to extend that 1.5 hours, i think the two of them might have just died out of exhaustion and some of the niners might be frustrated with the long waiting time :X

in any case, if you doubt my ability (in being a virtuous wife), i:

1. made awesome sandwiches with cabbage, tomato, cheese, egg & mayo! (the ones that i usually buy myself)
2. cut them into half using this saw-like knife
3. wrapped those sandwiches using the cling wrap (uncle lim say i'm VERY skillful and said that my sandwiches are very well wrapped HAHA. the result of helping my mama wrap the 肉碎s when i was younger)
4. collected the used dishes
5. wiped the tables
6. washed the dishes (inclusive of cups, spoons, bread plates, egg plates, and occasionally trays)
7. toasted some bread, placed them on a dish and passed to the customers (during the peak period i stopped collecting the dishes and instead helped out at the counter HAHA)

i feel super accomplished. HAHA. but 3.5 hours of standing is really no joke. i had butt cramps when i was washing my very last set of dishes and my knee joint was hurting omg. and when i was finally done, i rewarded myself to some french toast (uncle lim told me to take whatever i want!! FREE BREAKFAST!!!) and finished up my awesome tehping. it seriously tastes much better when i've earned it myself.

and you know what, now everytime i spent 20 bucks i'd think twice. i think that's abt the amount i earned today o.O

once more next week and this will be my last job before i start my proper career in edb :D
